WITH THE TOSHIBA 51H83TOSHIBA TV YOU CANT HOOK UP HD CABLES TO THAT SPECIFIC TV FROM YOUR XBOX 360 BECAUSE THE DEVICE ISNT EQUIPPED WITH THAT CAPABILITY
Hello:The xbox came with an audio and video cable, probably componet cables on one end, if you are going to use HDTV input which is the red/grn/blue cables on the end of you xbox plug them into the corresponding color in the back of the tv, also on your cable is a switch labeled HTDT and TV make sure the switch is in the HDTV mode if you are going to connect the componet cables if you are going to use regular video then make sure its in the other posistion. If you use componet cables you are going to use the red an white audio cables also a total of five cables should be connected to the TV. Some newer xboxs have hdmi output as well this is the better of the three connections as it also has audio and hd all on one cable. using your tv's remote switch the tv's input to the same input you connected your xbox to. HAPPY GAMING..
Check to make sure all your cable is plugged in all the way, and if you are using the HD cable, that it is switched appropriately (regular TV to "TV" and HDTV to "HDTV"). If all that is well, call Microsoft, your system is under warranty and they will RMA it.
1) Connect the red, white & yellow audio leads in to the 360 scart adapter and then plug this in to the scart socket on the tv
2) change the xbox 360 selector at the back of the console from HD to TV
2) Select the input of scart on the tv
My TV has a Output port, It is only output for sound, IF you TV has this, then you need to use those, But i dono if it would have them, If it dosent the you will not be able to use the surround for everything without Plugging it in as you use it,
If you are using the grey hd cables that came with the xbox, there is a small selector switch on the base of the cable that plugs into the xbox. You may have to switch that to hdtv if you are using the component cables or tv if you are using the composite.
If you have a HDTV then you need to change the resolution to 720i or 720p to support the XBox 360 HD video. If you have a standard TV (non-HD) then you'll need to change your XBox 360's video settings to non-HD. The problem sounds like your mixing up HD video signal. I really need more info about your TV. Is it HD? Or regular?
I have it and it works great!
For all TVs, the TV have to be on fixed settings on standard, dot-by-dot mapping, noise reduction off. The camera's exposure the same for both side-by-side shots.
Just set it on standard and it should work...
