It`s actually a t760. the display panel is blank, but the power light does come on. is it the fuses? they`re solid so i can`t tell if their bad.
My Asko T761 had the same problem, power button lights up but the LCD panel if off. This is not the fuse becuase I replaced with "new fuse replacement kit" provide by Asko but this did not solve my problem. All I needed to do was press the "reset button".
There is a reset/ overheat button on the back of the dryer (push the black rubber plug in the middle of the back of the dryer) till you hear a "CLICK". The reset "POPS" if the dryer is getting too hot. Ck the lint screen, is it clean, try running the dryer without the vent pipe on back hooked up(for 1 load as a test) , (to see if it'll shut off) if it runs ok and doesn't blow the reset again, it means you have buildup of lint or a restriction it the outlet pipe.
THANKS A LOT!!! I found the black button on the back of the dryer and it's working now! May God bless you.
My problem is gone after putting the reset button on the back. Thank you guys.
Try to replace the fuses. If that not helps, it could be the screen that is defect. Check if it starts when you select a program, and push start. The display is off when door is open.

drys fine, but loud noise while running
When the Asko dryer overheats it trips a thermal switch. Reset it on the back under a rubber button cover (in the middle of the back). The fan is probably clogged and needs to be cleaned. Ours had a penny jammed in it.
Cheers.
power on, but electric panel blank "green"
Hey I had the same problem with the T760. I cleaned out all the vents and hit the rubber switch in the back a presto is worked! THANKS
Had the same problem. Replaced the two 15 amp fuses. Parts department of an appliance repair shop said the new models don't have fuses since North American homes have circuit breakers. They are told to replace the 15 amp fuses with 20 amp so I did that. Still had same problem. Power light on, no digital display. Read your fix about the button in the middle at back. Pushed that and it works. Saved a $179 service call
THERE IS NO REST BUTTON
I had the repair man come over yesterday because I had this problem.....power light on blank control panel. He said to replace the control panel....cost approx $500. I just read through this forum and tried pushing the reset button on the back! It worked!! UP and running again. Glad I read this before forking out $500.
My Asko dryer went out the other day. I tried to turn on power but nothing....any suggestions, maybe fuses? Is there a reset button and where is it located. Thanks
where is the "Rubber Switch" on the back??
The black rubber pushbutton is on middle of the lower part of the back. When Power light is on and control panel is dead, you should try the reset pushbutton first.
