It might be that the sound amplifer is defective if you know anything about electronic you can fix it . If not better take it to someone who can repair it.
The amplifer is the part of electronic that amplifies current so the speekers can be driven. Check it if there is a bad solder or anyhing suspicious.

I'm getting the exact same thing with a 26" model. First I found AV2 started carrying AV1's input so we put a switch in. Then it starts to shut off with the twice blinking light after viewing the scart input for a while. I'm currently trying feeding it scart set to composite rather than RGB to see if it'll stay on. One other thing - I just got a oneforall remote. I don't suppose you did - in case that is triggering something?
People are reporting a fault with the "painter" chip which is terminal usually. But that seems to manifest as the tv switching to scart input spontaneously. I haven't seen that.

if you have back ground of tv repair, remove back cover but you need tools and tester, check heater line from crt ckt board going to horizontal section.
