First, make sure the jack is not shorting against the circuit board or an adjacent wire. Check the wire connections at the jacks and switch. Sometimes these wires disconnect due to poor solder joints on the switch or jacks. Make sure the circuit board is not touching the enclosure or pot assembly.

How do I hook up my Alesis Microverb III effect to Mackie CR1604VLZ and allow maximum aux sends for monitors ?

Hi,
What you need to do is connect (for example" Aux 1 send from the desk to the Left Input of the alesis. Then connect the Left and right output form the Alesis to Auxilery return 1 and 2. You can just use the left ouput and use aux return 1 if having mono effects is ok.

Could a bad cable connection make a fuse blow in my fender passport 250, or cuase any problemmwith ouput from my speakers...?

A shorted speaker cable could cause this... however, what you do is to replace the fuse BUT wire a 150 Watt lamp in series with the power input... This acts as a resetable fuse for testing. If the lamp stays lit, you still have a failure.

Problem with the Gemini Sound Products Gemini CTRL-SIX USB/MIDI DJ Controller and Audio Interface It wont be detected by the computer's usb on WIndows 7

In the control panel, sounds and devices, check that the device is in each list under audio, voice, and hardware tabs and that your device is the default device. If NOT in the list, the CORRECT drivers are NOT installed or not properly installed.

My marshall mg50 dfx keeps cutting out and stuttering, any idea what the problem is? It sort of cackles as well when the volumes increased giving me different variations in sound.

As a guitar player myself learn that not all speaker from some amps hold the ouput wattage. The fuse could ba a problem or the speaker is giving out.

It doesn't record from instrument input , it records only from the microphone of "apple mac"even if we make all that the manual describes

You likely have not got the driver installed correctely. In Windows type machines OFTEN you must install the software driver BEFORE the device is tied to the computer. It sounds like you are on an Apple machine. Look for cautions regarding connection before software is installed.

I have a peavey supreme xl head thats... well... OOOOLD. at one point i got SUPER pissed and kicked it across the room, causing one of the speaker ouput jacks to fall out. I put it back in and, for a...

Open the unit and inspect for damage and repair as necessary. It does no good to just look at it. Likely something has fallen into the speaker and damage could be worsened if you don't repair it before trying to use it,

Reverb wont work !!!!!!! Hot rod deville 410

probably a bad reverb tank. there is a little inductor inside that shorts out easily/common. you cant repair it. its just easier to order a new tank. what you do to test is........turn on the amp with the reverb turned up all the way........ volume up on the amp at normal playing level.....then tap or knock on the reverb tank itself......if you get sound then the output of the tank is good/ no sound the ouput side is dead.......then what you do is unplug the ouput of the tank and plug the output wire to the input of the tank and tap/knock on it again....if you get sound then the input side of the tank is good/ no sound is dead. this is a way to test the tank independently from input to output. which side is bad is irrelevant, what is improtant is determining if the tank is toast. i can get accutronics tanks from my distributor at a better price than anywhere else. email me thru my contact page on my website with the tank code numbers and letters so i can get you a price also check my price with whats on ebay, etc. my website is yostamplifier.com

How to use the four ouputs in korg pa800

Go to www.korgpa.com/pa_root/pdf/pa800/Pa800-200UM-ENG.pdf.Page 226 has the audio output section.Page 19 has the rear panel explanation. Left/Right: These are the main stereo outputs. Use them to send the final stereo mix to an external device. Connect either to get a mono output. Set the output level with the Master Volume slider. 1/1: These are the sub outputs. Use these to create a stereo submix of just some tracks or to output just a single instrument to be mixed alone or to be processed or amplified externally. Not: the Master Volume slider has no effect on these outputs. Signal is sent dry with no effects applied. Hope this helps.
