There is a built-in microphone located beside the built-in web cam. however, if the microphone should stop function, or you want to use an external mic, there is a mic input jack beside the eSata/USB port.
it's really frustrating when that happens. you can go here and download corresponding drivers for your computer. select windows 7 (32 or 64 bit?) then download all the drivers you need. you can also find your Toshiba DVD player under DVD category. hope it helps.
you have in built web cam that's not a problem to install other web cam ..... connect the web cam and install the driver which one came with the web cam and enjoy it ...............
have you tried windows update? don't use high priority updates, click on custom and then optional hardware, then optional software, add ALL listed, and it's possibly the solution
I wish I could but I have the same frustrating problem with my Toshiba Satellite P300. I can see the darn thing there in front of me, I've evn had the blue light on it......once. Now absolutely nothing. I just get an Error message saying the driver doesn;t work so I should restart my computer or the camera. Aaaagh!
