Computer powers up but no display , have tried seperate display card but still no display to monitor . Computer is not giving any warning beeps.
Check the cpu fan, and you kwon what, check the video card ther is some more slot available change it !
This type of problem is so common nowadays. What I did is open up the casing, pulled out the RAM and by using pencil eraser, rubbed the contact pattern. Put it back and turn on your computer. Always work for me and hope it might work for you too.
Hi, all. If you are using a seperate video card instead of the onboard video adapter. Try going into the bios to make sure the first selection is for video is PCI, or AGP. The choices usually are,
PCI, AGP, and ONBOARD or sometimes, internal or embedded.
Try to make sure the selection is PCI. This tells the bios to look for a PCI,card first. I dont know if this will help, but at least you know the motherboard will have the correct settings in the bios. Good Luck.

have you tried using other monitor?try to replace your monitor if you have one and see if it works...is the light indicator on your monitor green or orange when you power up your computer?try to check the connection of your power cable & your cpu...

As i think you didnt connected the monitor power supply or the cable from monitor to the cpu is not connected or may be there is loose contact... just check this two you may have missed any of this 2 ...
if so connect it ...
or may be the monitor is not powered on .. there will be one button to switch on the monitor just switch on that one & try .....

Have found a small burn mark on motherboard so I think I can say it has had its day and I will be off to e-buyer to get a new one .Thanks to all those that posted help,will be using Fixya again.
i have added a nvidia pci card and a agp card nothing and the built in card not working ne ideas thanx i had another do this but i reset the bios it worked but not this one everythings running and comeing on just no monitor

Hi all,comp fires up no display ,no beeps,tried another driver in board,nothing,was a bit dusty so brush out but still nothing,tried monitor on another system and is ok,tried original driver in another system,seems to be stuck on start up mode but no windows,tried safe but 0,tried norm but 0,drive has no back up so i can't recover either.has both motherboard and driver had it ..
