Bad mechanism or probably switch. Take to shop. Peace.

Look for a small whole below the tray on the face of the player that looks like you could stick a paper clip into and then stick one it it push firmly but slowly into whole and unlock tray.

If your using CDS why are you needing to use your mac? but there should be a usb cable to hook them up

Both doors? When you press switch (eject) does display change? I doubt you have 2 defective eject switches. Its more likely you need to replace both CD drives, this is quite common.

Have you tried downloading the most recent rom update for the CDN-90? All you need to do is download it from here http://www.numark.com/contentmgr/showdetails.php/id/1493/tt/5 , then burn the download to disc. Once that's done, put the disc into the player, switch the player off and wait 10 seconds, then switch it back on again. the player will read the disc and flash the ROM. this should reset the player for you. Before you ask, you can out the disc into either side of the player. Full instructions are given with the download.

Cd drawer and laser assembly are belt driven. Belt needs to be replaced

hi make sure that you cart is inserted all the way in, push the eject button why hitting the mag with the handle of ascrew driver. this may dislodge the jammed arm/lever. otherwise its down to your repair agent.
