Roper RED4640YQ1 dryer won't heat all seems okay. See comments?

There are normally three devices controlling heat overload, but I don't see them in parts lists. Thermostat, high limit cut out and thermal fuse. The thermal fuse doesn't reset, it basically blows and cuts power.

If it is the timer, they are over $200 so call for service so they take the risk on it being right. Then you get the warranty on parts and labour.

Roper gas dryer does not heat.

If the ignitor is not powering , go to the switch. That has to send power to the ignitor, then on to the gas valve.

What does it mean if my roper dryer runs but doesnt get hot ?

either the breaker has tripped and not allowing it to heat, thermal fuse kit may have gone bad or element is bad.that is normal problems with dryers.first check to see if 220 is going to dryer and drye cord is in good shape.no burns.

Roper dryer, timer doesn't time out and not heating up?

Dryer will run forever if it doesnt heat up, Dryer has to heat up and thermostat has to get hot and open to start the timer. Odds are rally great, it is your heating element.

Runs fine just no heat.
