The best way to determine what is at fault is to disconnect the Denon tuner and run the signal straight to the TV. If the problem goes away, the Denon is at fault.
Check the input cables. It is possible one was knocked lose by mistake. Try from a different input source such as a DVD player. This can lead to a solution, let me know if it works.
I had this problem when I connected to the hdmi input
I called and was told the set had to be readjusted for the hdmi input it was still under warrentee.so the sent a tech out to readjust the set and have never had this problem again........
you have to make sure you switch the tv input to the hdmi input, not the coax input, also , only the hd chanels will look ha, the rest will prity much look the same as befor
Hi, Seems convergence out IC is fried in TV so it gives blue shadow.
Check out Convergence Out IC which you need to replace in TV, if you have enough experience of repair of big TV, necessary tools and know basic electronics.
Same problem but mine goes black for long periods. Menu prompts still available and volume "meter" on screen is still visible. Have rerouted cable, changed outlets, all to no avail.
