Pc dosen't recognize device

use Windows Device Driver Rollback to replace the driver with the previously installed version.
1 Click the Start button and click Control Panel.2 Under Pick a Category, click Performance and Maintenance.3 Click System.4 In the System Properties window, click the Hardware tab.5 Click Device Manager.6 Right-click the device for which the new driver was installed and click Properties.7 Click the Drivers tab.8 Click Roll Back Driver. If Device Driver Rollback does not resolve the problem, then use System Restore to return your computer to the operating state that existed before you installed the new driver.
If the problem still occurs then use a system utility tool like Reginout for an instant fix.

Windows 7 will not recognize Logitech Orbit Cam

Win7 32 or 64 bit? If 64 bit, maybe not supported. Fyi, WIn7 64 not support for many previous software and hardware. Need to check the device support or not for Win 7 that you use.

Cant get computer to recognize web cam

The Quickcam Pro 9000 is only compatible with PC, Windows XP SP2 at least.

If your virtual PC runs Windows 7, there is a known issue running it in Windows 7. If this is the case, I suggest to contact the manufacturer.

There is one made for MAC though; QUICKCAM vision PRO. Manufacturer's part number is 960-000254.

Hope this helps! Please don't forget to rate or vote. All the best!

Rosetta Stone Microphone Not Found

This worked for me:

1) Right click on the Rosetta Stone icon in the Start menu
2) Click the "Compatibility" tab
3) Set it to run in compatibility mode with Windows Vista SP2 (mine was defaulted to run in XP compatibility mode, which seemed to be the problem)
4) Start the program again, if you are lucky all mics will now show up

My GN9350 is not recognized at all under Windows 7 (it was however, under Vista)! Where do I find the drivers for a proper installation?

Early GN9350 models are not compatible with Windows 7. The usb audio device driver for Windows 7 requires signed drivers, but the original GN9350's are not compatible as the drivers are hardcoded in the firmware.
I was able to confirm this with Jabra support. The option they offered me was to send in my existing unit and they would replace it with a new (likely refurbished) newer model for $110. I've sent it in as that is still a lot less thana new unit.

Lose webcam connection in Skype when using a headset

Have you checked the recording settings in Windows and in Skype? Try changing the default recording device to specifically indicate the device that has your headset plugged. I think the webcam also has a mic and that should not be selected.

Other thing to check is if there is some kind of resource conflict between your USB controller and audio card (use Device Manager).
