My Sansa e250 has hanged and only wheel light gets light is I restart the player....Plz help !!

Battery and Black screen Blue ring: Remove the back and check and see if the battery isn't fully connected
push softly but firmly on the Rubber rectangle above the battery (This is the Chip-set For the screen, and memory "Black screen Blue ring" ) and put the back on.

My m3 player froze while charging and now it wont turn on

I held it in the off position while at the same time pressing the menu button....it shut off, then I restarted it. It will repair the media itself.

Screen went blank

Hi, I experienced the same problem this morning, my sansa player (e280, 8Gb) froze in the middle of a song, the screen went blank but the wheel still had its blue light on and i didn't know how to fix it bur then i figured how. If that's the case with your player too, then the solution will be to press and hold the power button till the blue light goes off (abt 8-10sec) and then just restart the player. It should work.

Nothing but the blue ring lights up

ok..idk if this will work but it might...first turn off the sansa...then turn the hold switch on (it should turn red). hold down the record button on the side of the player..then while still holding that hold the power button down...but keep holding them untill a screen shows up saying something about recovory mode..itll say to plug in the usb..u could do that..idk it that will work..it it doesnt instead of plugging in tthe usb in the computer..wait about 15 seconds after the recovory mode screen shows up and then hold down the power button for about 15-20 sec...then itll go all black (including the blue light) press the power button again like u would to turn it on...and everything should be back to normal..hope this helps...:)

Common problem...yet no working solution...

I think there's a capacitor that holds a charge for the blue-ring-of-death. The fix is to hold the menu button down for about 30 seconds (blue ring disappears) and continue holding for about 15 more seconds (or until re-boot). The additional time is required to discharge the capacitor.
If that fails, there is a safe-mode: place the device in hold, and press the mic and menu buttons at the same time. This usually doesn't apply to the blue-ring problem, but it may help.

Black screen blue ring

Try holding the Menu button for about 15 seconds.
