My x3470 scanning function is not working. No

It does sound like something's not in the right place when you got it back together. Try to check the encoder strip (transparent strip found behind the cartridge carrier assembly). This is responsible for the carrier's movement along the assembly. Make sure it has not gotten loose.

tape down the little plastic black lever inside so it can not POP UP to trigger the error message. who needs a machine to say lid is up anyway?
