I have a new Blackberry and can't pair my WEP410

I have a new Blackberry and can't pair it to my Samsung WEP410 bluetooth headset (I think it is still connected to my old BB) how do I unpair it from the old one?

  • Anonymous Jan 11, 2010

Thanks. The old BB is gone.
I can't get the Samsung WEP410 bluetooth headset to go into pairing mode, I have tried holding the call button, also holdong the call button and both volume buttons. It is not a flip out headset. I keep getting the blue lite flasing every 3 seconds, it is in standby, waiting for a call?

You don't have to. So long as you don't use or have the other phone turned on you won't have a problem. To delete a device you have to go to your Bluetooth icon and check your paired devices..click it and delete. Also...if you can't get it to pair. Codes is 0000 or the last four digits of your phone number. Make sure the headset is in "Pairing mode" which is when the blue light stays lit. And you do that by holding the call button. Or call button and both volume buttons. If its a flip out headset then hold the call button and flip open until the light stays lit. Good luck. Rate plz.

Please rate. This is how we (advisor/problem solvers) get people to know...we know what were doing. Thanx

1.First make sure your phone is off. Do this by pressing and holding the Multifunction button (the one that flashes blue) for 4 seconds. For "OFF" it will flash blue and red along with a series of 2 tones. Then will stop flashing. For turning "ON" hold multifunction button for 4 seconds and it will flash BLUE 4 times and 1 tone indicating it is on. It will continue to flash every 3 while in stand-by mode and every 8 seconds while on a call.
2.Set your phone in "Discover mode" make sure you look at your manual on how this is done if don't know how. Usually found under Bluetooth settings.
3.Making sure your headset if off. Press and hold the Multi-Function button until the indicator light turns solid blue (hold for approximately 8 seconds). THE MULTIFUNCTION BUTTON WILL BE LITE ONLY HALF BLUE INDICATING PAIRING MODE.
    4. You phone will find and ask to pair. Press confirm/OK and enter "0000"
5.If pairing successful, light will flash blue 10x rapidly before going to flash every 3 seconds. IF UNSUCCESSFUL LIGHT WILL REMAIN ON, AND YOU WILL HAVE TO RE-ATTEMPT.

Samsung WEP410 charging cradle

I have a WEP410, charging cradle and required power cable that plugs into the cradle.  I will sell them all to you or whoever first accepts my offer to sell the whole setup for $45 plus shipping from California.  Just think, with an extra WEP410, you can be charging one and using the other, so you always have a charged-up headset.
I used it only briefly, paired it with a Samsung Blackjack II I think and it worked fine, but was unable to pair it with my Motorola Razr so I'd like to get another headset instead.
Great for people with small earholes, though!  Most earbuds are too big for my ears.
