Multiple log in to voicemail

We are having problems retrieving a voicemail. When you log in, the system states "multiple log ins to your voicemail" and you are unable to retrieve any of the existing voicemails. How do I clear this message so we may get our voicemail?

We shut the phone system off for about one minute and it reset the system without losing any of the messages.

Hi,

Please make sure that the customer is calling the correct number that you think that they're calling. Then, call this number yourself and leave a message before going to check the message again. If you can't find your message, please call the business' phone company and ask them if there are multiple mailboxes linked to your business phone number. If so, they can provide access to the other mailbox for you.

Avaya 4610 Red Light on top is on. pretty sure it isvoicemail but not sure of the voicemail box number as these phones have multiple extensions in their lifetimes. Is there a way to clear it?

Have you tried to retrieve any message? Sometimes another extension will set the MW light on inadvertantly.
Calling the VM won't help but if your retrieval attempt keeps ringing it will be a phone somewhere within the system. FIND IT & Answer the call at THAT extension and the light should go out. NB sometimes there can be more than one in Queue. Panasonic stack up to 8.

I m not able to log in with the ymail id and pwd whereas with the same i used to log in earlier and also the facebook is logged in with the same id and pwd.

You have been most likely infected with a keylogger. Since you use the same details for multiple networks it was easy enough to get the details for 1 network and the hacker got easy access to the rest. I advise you to run a full system scan then retrieve any social networks which may have been compromised(Yahoo for instance).

Right, but to get to the Admin area, you need to log into the system administrators mailbox. That will need to be reset before you can change the AA greeting.

You can contact dstech1.com, they will reset for $55 (with a credit card). Or you can call Avaya, they will reset for $300

Multiple login error will clear up if you reboot your phone system with voicemail.

hi,

As if you are aware, Windows XP is *NOT* a server operating system, so, any time, only *one* user will be allowed to log in *interactively*.
You need to use VNC software if you want to use your system by multiple users at the same time.

But, session will remain interactive for only one user at a time.
By *interactive* i mean, only one user at a time can be logged in, if multiple users are logging in using VNC or any other Utility software, they will be sharing the same session/desktop.

  1. Hangup, wait 5 minutes and try again. This will usually clear the problem.
  2. Call repair.

Sounds like you were kicked out and still logged in, so when you tried to go back in, it said, multiple logins.

Try power cycling the system.
