SAMSUNG HT-BD8200 - No disk inserted and stucks saying "loading"

Each time I start the Soundbar, the BD/DVD menu says: "Loading". But there is no disk inside. If a press OPEN (on the appliance or via RC) it responds by saying "OPEN" but nothing happend and after a while (approx. 30s) it returns saying "loading".
Everything else works fine. But a firmware upgrade is NOT possible because the setup menu is not available.
Any idea how I can return to the state "NO DISC"??
Its appreciated.

How to make my Samsung HT-BD8200 region free?

1. Open the disc tray and remove any discs
2. Close the disc tray
3. Switch Off Player and Unplug from mains wait minimum 30 seconds - this resets the memory, and RAM of the DVD/BlueRay
4. Make sure your TV is on as usual, and Reconnect to mains
5. Turn on your DVD/Blueray player with remote and wait for the "no disc" message to appear
6. PS! As quickly as possible, using your controller press - ENTER 8 4 2 6 9 ENTER
7. You have been successful when a blue box appears in the top left-hand side of the TV Screen, displaying the message "DVD Region Free"

You may have to attempt the "ENTER 8 4 2 6 9 ENTER" sequence several times before you get the Region Free message if you're not quick enough.

I can't get my BD 1500 to connect to the web to update my firmware. I've had Samsung send me the updates on a disk, but the player can't read the disks, it says loading and then ejects the disk. I guess...

I've used the USB method and it's never failed me, but make sure you read the instructions re NO DISK in the machine, power off, insert USB, power up, etc.

Failing that I have run a cat 5 (ethernet) cable and plugged it into the back so it was directly network connected. You do need to go into the setup / network setup menu of the player and tell it what your internet DNS server numbers are. If you're not sure of these, or it's starting to sound scary, maybe stick with the USB method.

I still can't play my Avatar Blu-Ray disk, I've already updated my Samsung BD-P1500 to the latest firmware v2.7 dated 22/3/10. What now?

Disable BD-Live. I have an LG so I don't know the Samsung's setup menu, but you can probably find BD-Live settings in the network section of the menu.
BD-Live is a "feature" that uses your player's internet connection to download new content (e.g. up-to-date movie trailers) every time you insert the disk. While this is pretty cool in theory, it causes problems when (a) you have an internet connection but (b) for some reason the disk isn't able to connect to the server it's looking for.
If you're using an ethernet cable you can essentially accomplish the same thing by disconnecting it from your player before you load the disk. Then the disk will not find an internet connection and won't try to perform the BD-Live functions, which should enable the film to load almost right away.
I disabled BD-Live and that has stopped all such issues (also a problem with Date Night for me). I don't want my moves phoning home every time I get something from Netflix. Maybe some day BD-Live will be cool but for now it's more trouble than it's worth, it seems.
I hope this helps you. Good luck.

Samsung sound bar stays on loading.

Have a look at this solution: http://www.fixya.com/support/t1942837-dvd_player_reads_no_disc_shows_loading. I used a cotton bud with isopropyl alcohol to clean around and inside the mechanism then cleaned and inserted a DVD.
