Hi JBKRIEGER, Happy New Year! Yes you can download both your Owners Instruction Manual and Parts List Manual from the KA website at: (http://www.kitchenaid.com/flash.cmd?/#/page/home).
Click on Customer Care>Locate Manuals& Guides> and enter the 6 character model number and then select the appropriate files under Owners Manual for your Instruction and Recipe manual and the file under Parts List for your parts list manual.
The Parts List manual provides an exploded view for the disassembly and reassembly of your mixer, along with all the part names and numbers. (Definitely check to see it this matches your mixer). You may not need it now, but if your mixer is out of warranty and you want to attempt to troubleshoot and fix your mixer yourself if something goes wrong with your mixer, you’ll definitely need that parts list manual.
Good luck with your KA mixer, Howard, Burke, VA.
If this solution was helpful though, please rate it. hslincoln

I have recovered my kitchenaid pro 500 mixer that was stolen, but the serial numbers have been removed. is there any other place to look

The sticker is the only number that they have here in NZ. I don't know how they operate in your country but here if it is registered we can just ask the distributor for the serial number of the products that we have registered under our name. Our database is searchable by customer name or serial number.

I have a kitchen aid pro 6 kp 2671 the motor will not turn on.

Bad motor = $125.00
bad speed switch = $38.00
bad plug = $17.00

All are easy fixes in that model and all parts are available on the internet and ebay. A kitchenaid parts manual can be downloaded off of the internet and it is basically a tear down guide. Shoul be able to accomplish any of the three fixes in 15 to 60 minutes

You probably blew out the soft start circuit. You can buy new ones at appliance parts stores if you are handy.

You can buy a cheap adaptor at Ap Liu Street in Sham Shui Po. I've also seen them in Fortress, Japan Home Centre, Wing On, etc. Maybe ParkNShop, APITA? Hope this helps

Will a Kitchenaid Pro 500 work in a foreign country with trans.?

Hi, This is not normally a difficult question. Normally the answer would be - Yes no problem. I have taken every kind of appliance overseas. But this particular model has an electronic speed control and finding out the exact details of the electronic clocking is a problem. My best guess is that it will work just fine but at a slightly slower speed like any other 60Hz appliance. Oh and by the way you're gonna need a pretty big transformer this thing pulls 325 watts so you should go to at least a 400 watt transformer for doughs and heavy batter. The thing you could do to find other folks experience is to go to the kitchenaid forum or military wifes forum online and ask if anybody has taken one of these overseas. Good Luck!
