My HBM-730 picks up my calls automatically after first ring Will not let me turn off or screen calls. While in a meeting my cell phone was on silent some one called and the caller heard all of our conversation in the meeting I was not aware that the Bluetooth was also a hands free device on answering calls that come in to my cell??? Is there any way I can program the HBM 730 so I can tap it to answer a call that comes in on my cell?

Hi, LG HBM 730 Bluetooth Headset Wireless Headset does have the ability to auto answer a call. But it does that automatically (does not need settings for it).
Also you can set auto answer from your cell phone.I don't know the model of the cell phone you are using at the moment. So you will need to use the manual of the cell phone to know how to auto answer calls.
When you set the cellphones auto answer, then it will auto answer on your LG HBM 730 Bluetooth Headset Wireless Headset..
To put your headset in paring mode, first turn it off. Then, press and hold the PWR/END button until the indicator led is solid lit (some 5 seconds). Now, make your phone's bluetooth software to search for devices. Select 'LG HBM-730' from the list. If a passkey (or PIN, or pairing code) is requested, enter '0000' (four zeros).
Hope it works for you
It is a function within your phone. You need to look for a setting on you phone with something about auto answer with headset or something like that and disable it.
tried pairing with a different phone and turned up the volume button...don't know which change made it work but it worked fine. So I'm guessing it might have been the voume was not set correcttly.
1.Press and hold the Multifunction button in the middle of a boom headset while the headset is closed. The light will glow blue. 2.Open the boom microphone and the blue light should remain on. If not, repeat step 1. 3.On the cell phone, press Menu > Settings > Connection > Bluetooth > Handsfree > New Device 4.Select HBM-730 once a connection is detected. 5.The passkey "0000" is now entered to confirm the connection has been made. 6.The cell phone screen will now read "Bluetooth Connection".
Tips: 1.Provided you set the Bluetooth power to "On" after the initial connection has been made, the phone will automatically re-connect to the headset. 2.To set the Bluetooth power on - Press Menu, Select Settings, then Connections, then Bluetooth link, scroll to Setup and select that. Scroll to Power and chose Change. Scroll to On and press Select. The screen should now read "Changed: Power On". 3.Test Your Connection: Close the headset and watch for cell phone to say "Disconnected". Re-open the headset and the phone should be connected automatically and will now display "Bluetooth Connected".
please give good rating if the solution works. Thanks for using FixYa.
I found the solution. The original password setting is a combination of zeroes - at least 4. If you did not originally change your password setting for your bluetooth from the original setting - try that. It worked for me.
