Hoover flair needs a belt replacement

Remove the small screws on the bottom of the powerhead. On some models there are 2 hidden beneath the rubber wheels in front. Just pop the wheels out with a flat blade screwdriver and remove those two as well. Remove the hood and you have access to the belt, motor and roller.
Here's the correct belt:

How do I change the belt?

To change the belt on a Hoover Flair Stick Vacuum, remove all 6 screws from the bottom of the beater bar. There are 2 screws hidden under wheels. You must pop the wheels off with a screw driver to remove the hidden screws. The cogged belt is on the left side of the beater bar. Be careful not to pull the wires.

Carpet setting not working

there is a belt in the nozzle that is driven by a small motor in turn will drive the roller when set to carpet. did you completely dis-assemble the nozzle? ie, to remove the roller and clean the endcaps? this would also show the belt. The gear on the motor wears very easily and could also be worn. I would change the nozzle or get a new Flair. new nozzles cost about $25-$30.

Hoover Flair S2200

Should be the same, Hoover would only have one S2200 model and it doesn't matter who is selling it.
