yes it is. =) as long as your processor is compatible with windows 7 ultimate. this is the specs of your motherbard and I think it is pretty cool:

Hi friend, sometimes situations of this sort likely happen when we install windows 7 or vista Operating System with motherboards which are not compatible. and some if your Microsoft windows is not genuine you are restricted from using services like auto update on your windows.
But other times you can't find a driver for your operating system by visiting your computer manufacturing website, instead try the processors website, for example: intel or AMD.

You can download the drivers from ASUS WEB site. Selectyour model motherboard/computer/laptop, and make sure you select the Windows XPor Vista version of the drivers that matches your Windows operating system.Please click on this link to their WEB support site : -http://support.asus.com/download/download.aspx?SLanguage=en-us

this motherboard is not on asus's list of windows seven supported motherboard, which doesn't mean it doesn't work. use this link to asus's download page: http://support.asus.com/download/download.aspx?SLanguage=en-us if you are using windows 7 32bit version , use the vista 32bit display driver . if your using the the 64bit win7 version, download and install the vista 64bit drivers.

Your windows version is trial or genuine, u check. Or u open your net & register.

Go to asus.com and go to support and downloads driver and select appropriate modelnumber of your laptop and windows version and download it its simple

Delete the '32bit' folder from your USB drive, and try again to re-install Windows. Hopefully, it will find the '64bit' folder, and will install from that folder.

u should try to download new sound driver for win 7 compatible
