Replaced my hp pavilion a705w desktop motherboard with a new one. The new one is not an exact match. Both are HP motherboards. The new one is an (Asus p4sd i865pe socket 478 mATX MB w/vid snd & Lan. Need diagram for the new one. Please HELP!!!

Most of the time you can go to your motherboard manufacturer's website and download a PDF version of your manual. Just find your model and revision(if any) and your in business.

where to connect the front usb ports
I need to unplug the power supply connector on the MB and then reconnect in order for the front panel power switch to work. I need to know if I have correctly connected the - and + pin on the board. Could you diagram which two are correct. All other connectors word: ie. power green light, h.d. red activity light and reset button. thanks

i accidentally unplugged some wires from my motherboard and i dont have a clue where to plug them in . they are my wires coming from my power switch and reset button .i cant get my tower to come on w/o these .i have tried plugging these on a set of poles that are color coded but i still dont think i have it right.
