    A CD rom was not supplied when I purchased my camera. What do I need to get, or can I download software to enable me to put my mini-tapes onto CD or DVD? I have Windows XP.

    If i put the min DVD in to computer after it do not wants to read it .What is the problem because we used two diffrent computers and a DVD player with out success.

This is analog camera, not possible to connect it directly to your PC, capture device is needed. It's easily obtainable in any computer store. You may use PCI TV Tuner with A/V input or a video capture device connected to USB. Video quality is not as good as videos from digital video cam.

If the camcorder can be connected to the computer there is big posibility that can be downloaded,

Install all the enclosed softwares into the computer and then connect the camcorder, REfer to the user manual regarding the copying of video to the computer. http://books.jvcservice.com/booklist.asp?Model=GR-SXM37US

You can transfer video from the camera to your pc by using an i.Link connection if your camera has it or you can use the supplied usb wire to connect it to your pc and transfer the video that way. If you do not have the cord it is easily obtainable at any camera repair or sales store.

Hi I am Vortash according to the manual for this unit available on http://www.safemanuals.com the unit is quite capable of downloading to a computer but yes it does require the correct software to do so .. you may find this is available from JVC support as a download .. it says that you can download to a usb terminal or a Rs socket with a compatible retail software .. hope this helps Regards Vortash
