I have a Magnavox Micromatic stero console and can't find the needle I need to play records on the turntable. Can you help? Model # on the console is 1P3612 Serial # 1841813. On the turntable the # is 523698-5. The turntable modle # is W620 11-00. Ref. @ is 6826. Thanks.

Record Town in Fort Worth has them. They are at 3025 S University Dr 817-926-1331. He has a couple on order for me now. His name is Sumpter. They have been in business there since 1949.

I am in search of a wiring diagram for a magnavox micromatic turntable. It looks like 2 of the wires are touching. Can you help me out?

The cartridge is marked L & R, The R + and R- cannot touch or you will have no sound from one side of the stereo. The two center wires go to L & R ground and the two outside to the center posts of the L & R plugs. That is the wiring diagram.

Where is the model number for the stereo?

Generally the serial number will be on a label located by the power cable or n the bottom of the unit.

Since I can't be there for you I would suggest a nice small TV repair shop can do the soldering job for you. It takes a steady hand, small tools, and soldering talent.
