My vista hp laptop will not print emails on my hp 6300 printer

Click Start and then go to Printers and Faxes (XP), Printers(Vista), Devices and Printers(Win 7)
1. Right Click on your printer Icon 2. Click Open or See What's Printing 3. Click the option that says Printer on the upper left corner of the window that pops up. 4. Make sure the only thing that is checked under that menu is Set As Default Printer. 5. If Use Printer Offline or Pause Printing has a check mark. Uncheck it.
Try printing again. I hope this helped.

Check the right corner of the cover,you will see a pointing plastic touching the sensor,check if its broken then replace it,if you cant,then you need to replace the whole cover,,,

Is the drivers of P2015 correctly installed on vista? If yes then you have to check your printer USB cable. Try to change it and see the result.

delete and re-install printer is the only thing that works and only temporarily ... frustrating !!!

Many people had a similar problem with the Color Inkjet cp1700 B-size printer.

Another solution that worked for some people was installing the hp deskjet 9800 printer driver.

It appears what you need is a patched .gpd file for the BI 2800.

You'd think between HP and MS, they'd have this working right out of the box.
Did they think people would buy a B-size printer so they could hook it up to Vista and then not want to print mainly B-size documents?
They would have had happier customers if they would have included B-size support but left out A-size!

I have a wireless Mac ,version osX.4.11. I have a Colorsmart HP Priner 4100. I have created documents in IWorks Pages. I can not print directly. I have to save the doc as a PDF email, email to myself, go to Safari, then the printer will print. What am I doing wrong?????

try downloading HP Smart web printing from Hp.com web site, that should fix your email problems, reply back if the issue is not resolved.

The problem cannot BE solved. It's yet ANOTHER Vista screw-up.

I emailed Jarte Tech support and got the following answer:
"The problem you encountered is a bug in Windows Vista. You will see the same problem when using WordPad on Windows Vista. As you have noticed, not all programs are affected by the bug. The problem is occurring because you are using a Windows color scheme that uses a gray background color for text windows. Unfortunately, the only work around is to specify white as the background color to use for text windows. Hopefully, Microsoft will correct the problem in a future Windows Vista service pack."
