How to store and use numbers for automatic dialing

Press the STORE button, "Location?" appears in the dispaly screen, dial one of the digits 0 through 9 on the dialpad or press one of the 3 memory buttons:A, B, or C. Press the STORE button, enter the phone number using the dialpad, press the STORE button.
There are two ways to use the stored numbers. With the phone idle, press the DIAL button, press the memory button(A, B, or C) or one of the dialpad numbers 0 through 9, then lift the handset or press the speaker button and the stored number will be dialed. The other way is to first lift the handset or press the speaker button, press the DIAL button then choose the memory location by pressing one of the A, B, or C memory buttons or dial one of the digits 0 through 9 on the dial pad and the stored number will be dialed . I have included a link where you can download the manual.

I need to know how to program the numbers into the speed dial option. My mother's phone is a table set with large numbers #29267A ... close enough?

Before you store a telephone number in memory, make sure the dialing mode is
correctly set for the type of service you have. The default dialing mode is tone
(touch-tone), so if you have pulse (rotary) service, you must first change the dialing
mode. See “To Set the Dial Mode.” The following buttons can be stored into any
memory location: 0-9.
STORING FREQUENTLY CALLED NUMBERS
1. Pick up the handset.
2.Press the store button.
3. Push the desired memory location button.
4. Press the store button.
5.Use the handset number keys to enter the telephone number (up to 16-digits)
and press the store button.
6.Hang up the handset.
NOTE: If you make a mistake, use the delete button to delete wrong digits.
CHANGING A STORED NUMBER
Repeat the storage sequence above. The new number replaces the old number at
the memory location.
ERASING A STORED NUMBER
1. Pick up the handset.
2.Press the store button.
3.Press the memory location (0-9) to be erased.
4.Press delete for three seconds until the number in the display is erased.
5.Hang up the handset.
DIALING FREQUENTLY CALLED NUMBERS
1. Pick up the handset and press the mem button.
2. Press 0-9 for the memory location. The number dials automatically.
OR
1. Pick up the handset and press the dial button.
2. Press the review button for the desired memory location.
3. Press the dial button to dial the number.
OR
1. Press dial button while the handset is still in the cradle.
2. Press the review button for the desired memory location, lift the handset and the
number dials automatically.

Need manual so I can update and use stored numbers

The manual from the GE web site is here:

http://www.home-electronics.net/ge/pc/IB/29267GE3_IB.pdf

It's a pretty straightforward process, Pick up the handset press STORE a location (0-9) STORE dial the number STORE

With only 10 storable numbers it's pretty thin, but you also have the last 50 CID numbers to dial. If you live in an area with more than one local area code (overlays) and mixed 10 digit dialing, it looks like you may have some programming to do to make it dial CID numbers properly.
