There is a pulley that breaks inside but as these have been obsolete for over 20 years, I doubt it is repairable any more.
Fully working VM-D66p for £30 on amazon or fleabay.

You need the RF Adapter cables. I have seen items like that at thrift stores. The camera has that barrel connector
with 6? pins to connect it to the converter box that output to Channel 3-4. Keep checking ebay or craigslist.

NP55 or 65 battery pack which is just aa batteries. Build your own pack with aa batteries and solder them in series and insulate.

There are several ways of converting your tapes to a digital format.
1. By routing it through a DV camcorder with AV-input (these are increasingly rare though. (using firewire).
2. By using a device like this, which converts to DV. (also connects via firewire). http://www.dv247.com/invt/23453
3. By using a device which captures to MPEG2.

If you don't have your camcorder anymore, or it isn't functioning, you should try to get a second-hand 8mm camcorder with firewire. This way you are able to directly convert your tapes to your pc.
If you can't find a firewire camcorder you could just settle with a good functioning 8mm camcorder but you will have to buy a capture device as mentioned above.

well i have a SANYO camera and every time i cut it on it cuts on a little bit and i see it and it sais lens error: 308 what does that mean?

It sounds like the shutter mechanism in your lens has stuck closed. This mechanism blocks out the light when you push the button to take a picture, allowing the image sensor to record what it saw just at that moment. If the shutter sticks closed then the image is always dark. You can see the shutter when it is closed from the outside, this is probably what you see when looking into your lens. Fixing this problem generally requires complete disassembly of the camera body and lens to reset the malfunctioning elements. Check with your manufacturer for recalls or technical bulletins, and see if they will fix it under your warranty.
