Download india map in tomtom gps

I have purchased tomtom gps from australia but i m not able to get india map plz help me out

    I have a Tom Tom Go 910 which has EU and US maps. I have to often travel to India on work. It would have been helpful to have a Tom tom map, at least to a street level.

    I have similiar problem, I purchased Tom Tom in UK. It worked wonderfully in Europe and UK.. In India I am afraid even Tom Tom has no solution. The GPS software like Map India and Sat Guide, the software they have  is window based. If your GPS unit is window compatible their software will work. The Tom Tom software is one developed by a compny called Fascination with a large operation in Banglore working for Tom Tom. to develop their GPS interactive.


    So somebody more knowledegeable in this matter should intercat.
    Other wise just buy and Satguide and Map India and be happy with it.


    Over to you guys.

There are no India maps for tomtom. For India maps you may use Mapking, SatNav or MapMyIndia (best maps but with lousy software).

There is some other GPS software for india.
Tomtom not have map for india.

Yes, why not! the software maps are really helpful to give you the right route. For software maps you can try SatGuide maps.The best thing is that you can also upgrade maps from time to time.

TOMTOM AUSTRALIA
Most likely , no , unless its a special pack or somthing.

All Maps are available as installable add-ons, usually sold as a insertable memory card containing relevant map software.

So to get Australian maps on your American TomTom would just require installing the Australia Maps pack.
