Yellowing spots on my lcd flat panel tv

Just had Best Buy's Geek Squad in to rectify this problem.They replaced the whole panel and the yellowing still appeared. Thankfully under extended warranty. Going into Best Buy today to replace the TV.

What would be "panel separation"? I think i have the same problem. What did you do to solve it?

That is panel seperation Sony has had a BIG problem with that I do hope it is under warr , VERY expensive I would contact Sony And Screem nicely at them

The problem is called pixel re-stain, it usually happens on some old LCD panels, in your case, the TV is not worth to fix.

I've noticed a dark patch in the lower right corner of the screen. Is this a bad panel or backlight? It's mostly visible in scenes containing blues.
Sounds like a backlight is out probably due to a bad inverter board. If you can see the spot when the tv is off its probably a bad lcd panel.

I have a 46' Sony Bravia that has a thin bright pink vertical line that runs from top to bottom on bright backgrounds, but dark backgrounds it is gone and it comes and goes....

Yes that is beyond what you want to spend. That is the LCD display. Depending on sizes they can start at $ 600.00 and go up to $ 3700.00. I just checked on your model and the LCD display will cost $960.00, that's the price of a new set.
