This is what information I could find for you and I hope this helps you out.......F05 is listed as no drain or pressure jammed on full.

.
UPLUG THE APPLIANCE from the wall socket, pull it out and lower the drain hose into a wash basin to empty it. Repeat, get as much water out as you can. Next
check the filter on your machine (if fitted) for blockages. If no filter, you'll have to take the sump to pump hose off and remove the debris.

If no water, take the lid off, locate the pressure switch and disconnect the small bore plastic tubing from it, blow down the tubing to ensure it's clear. Try the machine again.
If this doesn't cure it you'll need either a new pressure switch or pcb and eeprom.

Hi I have a Hotpoint Aquarius WF340P washing machine and its stopped working properly.

Refer to your manual if you have one, if not, your machines filter may be full of lint or coins or other stuff. It is located at the bottom of your machine, just turn the nozzle and prepare for some water to escape, unscrew it, clean it all out and replace it, see if that helps... good luck

My washe keeps reading either F04 or F05

F04 - Pressure switch jammed on empty while F05 is a blocked filter.
Check that the pump is working o/k, if it seems o/k and it drains o/k, then you have no alternative than to call an engineer.
This really is your only option.
Plz rate my solution
Thanks.

Hotpoint aquarius wf740

Sounds like water pressure could be low or inlet pipe is kinked.

F04: possible filling or water level problem. Check water inlet pipe (or shut-off valve), or the outlet pipe, or the pump or pump filter if accessible (check for blockages or foreign objects). Also could be the water valve solenoid weak, causing filling to be too slow.

F05: possible draining (pumping off) problem, check the pump filter, or pump, outlet pipe, or U-BEND.
