Help my ps3 will let me do everything but play games i play for 2 mins and than it just freezes on me, isnt over heating or anything and im not in warrenty what do i do can it be fixed?... thanxs heaps stace

If not under warranty they will fix for 150+tax call 1800345SONY. if they decide they cant fix it they will send you a reburbished unit, which may , unfortunately, break again..XBOX360 has the same EXACT problems...

yo dude i have the same problem as u like im playing cod4 wen i exit a match it freezes wen i play guitar hero 2 that also freezes while playing a song i think i know sum ways. its either were playin to much u need to buy 1 of those disks that clean inside the ps3 or any dvds its like a special disk it just goes inside and u play it and it takes like 5 min cuz none of my games have scratches

you have dust build up brother. take a can of dust off and while the system is running pulse some air throught the front vents. you should see gobs of brown dust flying out the back....you system is freezing because its overheating(is that an oxymoron?) good luck!

is it pluged in directto modem or router if so by pass router ok ps3 direct then test unplug model too at night let cool down put fan on it as u play games using alot bandwith and heat could fail
