The "warming up" error is caused by a dirty scanner mirror or scanner glass. To fix the issue you will have to remove the top of the unit. You will need to clean both sides of the glass where you put the paper to scan. After this clean the mirrors that are under the top cover. Be sure to not break any of the cables. You can use paper towels and q-tips dampened with Windex to clean all of the glass and mirror surfaces. Reassemble the unit and you should be error free again.

click menu and down to VMWI press menu

It will continually reappear so when you get the process correct copy it down
If it copies ok, then the issue is either the way it is cabled to computer or the print driver software settings on pc.... How is it connected via USB? Check port and correct driver is in windows/control panel/printers. Reinstall.
