Yeah right, set the date and time etc. But make sure you set the camcorder off(wait for the indicator light goes off) and remove the DC or battery whichever were used after setting, and settings were saved. Next time your camera will not ask you to set the date again until internal battery(clock battery expires). Hope it helps

Okay, then set the date and time first.

This is like a requirement for you to be able to start recording.

For more information, it is still best to consult the manual.

Here is an available one for you to download. Goodluck!

Click on get manual, enter the required codes and then finally, download.

Why dose recording in dvr goes on default date when light goes

Well, I'm trying to decipher this. Why does the recording in DVR revert to the default (date/time???) when the light goes off and comes back on.

I'm guessing you are trying to say time, not date, maybe day?

The DVR is trying to remember when a show comes on and record it, based on your settings. Usually shows come on at a specific time. DVRs usually update their scheduled recordings based on updated programming guide information. If you are constantly unplugging or causing your receiver to otherwise restart, most receivers will download an updated guide upon getting power back or restarting (DVRs themselves not having any idea how long they've been without power, download a new guide just in case after you unplugged them you moved to Arizona). During this time, the recording you set is showing the original time you set it up, because until the guide is downloaded, it has no idea that its wrong.

My best advice, even if I'm wrong about our language barrier here, stop unplugging your receiver. Leave it plugged in and powered at all times.

All times.

For ever.

How do you set the time and date so that each photo will have it posted

Firstly, set time and date in the camera:
1. Display MENU.
2. Click on each of the tabs until youfind a dropdown with Date/Time on it.
3. Click on this and follow the prompts.
4. On completion press OK. The date and time will be effective from the time you press OK.
I am not aware of any Canon camera that does enable the entering of time/date on all images.
However, it is recorded in the EXIF data that all digital cameras record with every image.
You can use ZoomBrowser - a software program that comes on the CD with Canon Cameras - to write the date/time on selected images. The date and time written will be the actual date and time the image was recorded on your camera i.e. the date and time you took the photo.
With the image open you should be able to find the time/date option.

Displaying time and date when printing

The date/time cannot be deleted once it is embedded in the image. To turn off the date/time deselect the date/time stamping by following procedure:
These instructions explain how to insert the date in images.
attention:
  • The [Date Stamp] cannot be deleted from the image data once it has been recorded because the date is written in as an image.
  • When selecting [Date Stamp] , [Recording Pixels] is set to 1600 x 1200 pixels and the compression (image quality) to [Fine].
  • When the shooting mode is set to <Movie> (g0029623.gif), settings for inserting the date and time cannot be made.

RCA model DRC8335 Loosing the date and time

That will be a problem from the text side of the broadcast, the clock is set from the text transmission, ( in other words a problem from the transmitter ) possibly due to digital switchover or work on the transmitters. One possible solution would be to turn off auto clock setting, and/or auto summer time adjustment.

How do I locate date/time?

Here is the link for the manual. There is detailed info around pages 20-25 on this topic.
http://resources.jvc.com/Resources/00/00/90/LYT1500-001B.pdf
On mine you go to Menu, Video Display, and then change the date time to on.

Most camers will always record the date/time stamp, whether or not it is displayed is this setting.

Can't read the date/time

There may be a simple explanation. Here are two possible reasons this is happening: * You may have disconnected the power source before turning off the power to your camcorder. If you remove the power source from the camcorder while the power is on, all settings and selections will be erased. Make sure to turn the camcorder's power off before disconnecting the power source. * This is particularly an issue for some early VHS-C camcorders – those with model numbers beginning with a "6" and ending with a "2" or "3" (i.e. CC6xx2 … CC6xx3). These camcorders have a consumer-replaceable clock battery that may be exhausted. If that battery runs dead or is removed and the main battery or AC is not connected, the camcorder will lose all its Date and Time settings. * In some models, the date and time display is designed to do this. When you turn on many VHS-C and digital camcorders, the Auto Date mode will display the time and date. When recording begins, the date is recorded on the tape for 5 seconds and then disappears. In the viewfinder, the date will then be replaced with the words AUTO DATE but they will not be recorded. They remain in your viewfinder so that you know this feature is on. On full-size or VHS camcorders, the Auto Date feature is very similar. When you first turn on the camcorder, the date along with the word AUTO and a Clock icon appear in the viewfinder. When recording begins, the date is automatically recorded for 10 seconds and then disappears. In the viewfinder, the Clock icon and the word AUTO remain but they will not be recorded. They remain so that you are aware that this feature is on. When using the Auto Date feature, be aware that the time is only recorded when you first turn on the camcorder and begin a recording session. It does not record each time you press the record button. There are a number of time and date display and recording options. Since these vary by model number, please refer to your owner’s manual for more details.
