I have lost the directions for use of power pop popcorn popper with power cup concentrators

1/3 cup popcorn, 1-2 Tbs. oil (optional). The time depends on how powerful your microwave oven is and whether you are using a Power Concentrator, but it will be between 2 and 5 minutes (closer to 2 minutes for a 1200 Watt oven; closer to 5 minutes for a 650 Watt oven)).

What type of popper is it? The 50030178 model isn't one I'm familiar with.

For most of the small air poppers, such as the Presto Air poppers, fill the measuring cup lid with popcorn so that the popcorn is level with the top of the cup. Add this amount of popcorn to the popper. On those units, there is a fill line inside the popping chamber. Do not fill past the line. For these air poppers, if you want to have butter or margarine on the popcorn, add 3 tablespoons of the extra to the lid after you replace it on the popper.

The amount of oil and popcorn will depend on how much you want to make. For a single serving, you need 2 T (tablespoons) of kernels and 1 - 1 1/2 t (teaspoon) of oil. The Nordicware Popcorn Popper is one that actually works in the microwave. The 3-Qt. Popper makes light and fluffy popcorn in about 4 minutes. Just place 1/2-cup of popcorn kernels in the bottom bowl and cover with the lid. No oil needed, makes up to 12 cups of popped corn. Good luck Richard

The manual says to put 1 to 3 tablespoons of oil in the popper, and when hot, add 1/2 cup popcorn. Salt it after dumping the popped corn into a bowl.

1. Pour up to 1/3 cup of popcorn kernels in the base of the Popcorn Popper.
2. The use of oil is optional, but not necessary. If desired, drizzle a small amount of vegetable oil over the unpopped kernels, then stir to coat the kernels.
3. Place cover on the base bowl. Cook on High in the microwave for approximately 3-5 minutes (microwave ovens vary tremendously!), or until popping slows down. Allow Popcorn Popper to cool before repeated use. Do not try to re-pop unpopped kernels.
4. Hand washing is recommended, but occasional washing in the top rack of a dishwasher is acceptable for the bowl, but not the lid.
5. If popcorn burns easily or does not pop well, try placing a shallow bowl, dish or plate upside down on the microwave turntable to raise the popcorn popper up a bit.

The manual says, place butter in cup, hook cup onto the rim of the pan below the "butter cup"marking on the lid, and the butter will melt and drip evenly onto the popcorn as it pops. I haven't tried it; hope it works for you.

2 tablespoons oil to 1/2 cup corn

put about 2 tablesppons oil into the popper. Put 2 or 3 kernals into the oil. Turn the popper ON. When the kernals pop,.the oil is hot enough. Add 1/2 to 3/4 cup corn and enjoy when its done.

Hello Dan, According to the manufacturer specifications, your popcorn popper has a 2 ounce capacity kettle. so you should be able to take those premeasured packets and by using exactly (close enough) half, get the desired results of pop corn out of your popper.

If you also want to use your own popcorn, here's some directions that will let you do that also.

First, turn on the popper and add 1 teaspoon of oil or butter, you can also use Land O' Lakes Margarine as it doesn't burn the popcorn like most butter will do so this is a personal preference (so you can use whatever your preference is but it must be melted). I've not tried it un-melted but I don't think it would work too well.

Then add ¼ cup of unpopped popcorn, brand doesn't matter. Wait and within 5 to 10 minutes it will hve popped.

If you are using the Cuisinart pop corn poppper, don't use olive oil. Use vegetable oil. Two teaspoons is enough with 1/3 cup of premium kernels. That is it. Turn on the machine and wait til it stops popping. I LOVE my new pop corn popper. I will not do the hot air one again. I always had kernels flying all over my kitchen and popped popcorn everywhere, The Cuisinart popper is the best....
