Hi, i have a dell d430 and i have sound problem. Everytime I turn on my WIFI, any alerts will emit a sound and whenever my Outlook receive a new email, it will emit the same sound. I know I've downloaded the latest driver and also reinstall Dell Quickset. I've already set it to Mute and in my Control Panel, I've removed all the sounds and yet my laptop still emit sound. Please help...

    i think i removed my audio from my computer and cant figure out how to get it back. i dont have the cd for it beacuse it was put on my computer for me. is there a free download i can get.

Try switching off the receiving of delivery report upon sending a message. This you will find in message settings.

I'm trying to connect to internet via wifi and it's asking for a device password. what is that? this is a d430 dell.
I suspect the device that is asking for a password will be your wireless router. Normally, the password, or key, is printed on a label on the side or bottom of the router.

Dell d430 Bios Password Forgotten
Bios password is a tricky thing. Some dell laptops have default password to reset the BIOS you may have to call there tech support to get the password. Thats M afraid is the only way out
