I have a kaz 3020 healthmist humidifier and lost the owners manual. I need info on proper cleaning of the unit and replacement guidlines of wicker filter

yes its normal thay have it in many collor White, Blue, Pink, Orange, Green, Yellow, Turquoise and Purple.

Try using vinegar and distilled water.
If this does not work try using a little bleach and water. Repeat till mildew is gone.
Rinse thoroughly Again & Again.
Everyday humidifiers should be cleaned.
After your last uses try blow drying it. Before you put it away. If it's dry it will not mold or mildew.
Mold & mildew will cause you to get very sick.
If the mildew does not go away replace your unit.

If water leakage occurs: • Check to be sure the tank cap is tightened properly. • Check the tank for leaks and replace if necessary.Check the water valve and water tank cap.If the valve or cap any of this is loose the water will leak. Fill the Water Tank with clean, cool, tap water and replace the Tank Cap by firmly turning clockwise. Turn the tank upright and check Tank Cap for leaks. If any water drips from Tank Cap, remove it and re-tighten. Make sure the circular rub cap Gasket (o-Ring) is in place when replacing Tank Cap - this prevents water leakage. ------------This should help.Thanks.Helpmech.
