I have a frigidaire mef352bgwd electric oven- after a power outage the lock engaged (door open) and now blinks continually. Tried shutting off breaker for 30 minutes- no change.

There is a pin that tells the oven the door is open, you need to push it in an hold it. It is pretty stiff, you can't use your bear hand. It will be in the upper left of where the door closes.

My oven door locked when I turned the oven to 350 degrees and would not unlock. I tried shutting the power off several times for 30 minutes and nothing worked. I finally took a small screwdriver and gently pryed at the door at the top left cornor and the door popped open. The lock mechanism was still hung up in lock position and finally I took a hammer and gently tapped on the lock at the center top of oven and it retracted and oven now works properly again.

Opened oven door before it could lock while I was

try unplugging the unit,
depending on your exact model it may just be lost in the programming becuse it sensed the door open while locking so it shuts down the lock for safety
just unplugging if for a few minutes might clear the error enough for the lock to rotate back to closed
position

Oven door locked.

The F9 code indicates there is a problem with the door lock.

Try disconnecting the power to the range for 10 seconds and reconnecting. Open the oven door and hold the door switch plunger in while you try these things. Put the control into clean for 5 minutes then cancel clean. You must hold the door switch plunger in for the 5 minutes.

Try canceling the clean cycle without putting the control into clean.

Thermador SC302T clicking noise, locked door after power outage

iodine, open the upper oven, look thru the grill below the control panel on the right side and there is your model number. The issue here is that when the power came back on the oven run thru a test and your lower lock motor has failed. It will need to be replaced. Yes the only way to stop this is to shut off the breaker.
