Hi. All of a sudden, I am getting no sound from my flare. Seems to be working. will make and receive calls but I can't hear any thing. No sounfd powering up or down. Any suggestions?

This could be a telco problem. Contact Samsung and your carrier to inquire.

Any codes,could be IAC sensor(RPM) or TPS sensor.

This will sound weird but turn the phone over and squeeze the phone up near the camera lens then try again...

remove battery from phone and reinstall after 10 mins... this seems to fix alot of things also go to sound setting a make sure the volume is turned up all the way

Hi there. It sounds like the speaker on your phone is broken! Try enabling speakerphone and see if that works. If it does, then your phone speaker is definitely broken and you should take your phone into your carrier to try and get it fixed. If you don't have speaker phone, I would still go to your carrier and ask for a repair. Alex

It sound like a bad reostat in the volume control. if its under warranty send unit back to kenwood and have them replace the volume control, and possible speaker involvement.

If you can figure out the solution to this problem please let me know. I have tried everything and this is not the first time it's happened. My phone once sent the same text message to the same recipient over 80 times. And don't count on Virgin Mobile and their joke "trouble tickets". You will NEVER hear from them again about it. And when you call back to get help, you will have to explain the ENTIRE thing over again because apparently their customer service reps don't take adequate notes when you call them. I have had so many problems with texting on this phone it's ridiculous. Most of the time I don't get text messages from people, and then sometimes I'll get them like 4 days later but never all of them. The texts that I send will sometimes take hours or days to reach the recipient... It is a joke and it's a well-known issue that Virgin has with the LG Flare. Seems a bit strange that they would still sell it? From what I've heard the only thing you can do is call them and demand that they send you a replacement phone-- but NOT another LG Flare! The speaker of your handset lost its limitation. Check the speaker's limitation 30-32 ohms. If not, repace it cleaning the connecting foils.

Hi everyone, after spending sometime scouring the internet to no avail in order to fix this problem it suddenly occurred to me that the little holes in the earpiece may have become blocked from sitting around in my pocket. I have carefully cleaned all three of them with a pin and Hey Presto I can hear fine again without going on loudspeaker. Rgds Bill

Sounds like your battery is dying and the unit is saving energy.
