The Thermal Fuse is located on the air blower housing. Its a small white plastic component with two wire leads.
The Thermal Cut-Out (TCO) is located on the outside of the heater box on the end opposite the heating element terminals.
The reason I mention both these components is because some people confuse the two and use the words interchangeably. There is a difference between the two components and what they do.
DOUBLE CHECK YOUR SYMPTOMS:
If your dryer does not run at all, check your Thermal Fuse.
If your dryer runs, but does not heat you need to check the Thermal Cut-Out.

Jsrocks516 is right on. most likely it is the thermal fuse. bypass the fuse by connecting the wires. if the dryer comes on, then replace.

I found an electronic schematic (diagram) in the back of my dryer by the timer dial when I took the back plate off. If you have one there, it will show you the wire colors and you can follow them to the fuse. You have to know the electronic diagram for a fuse. It may be labled as the fuse but will look like a sine wave. Not sure if this will help you or not.

ok the heater is on the right side of the unit standing from the front the thermal fuse is located behind the thermastat should be round black objects that have to wires going to them it is recommend that if you have a bad thermal fuse you replace your thermostat wich is the bigger round plastic also might want to check your vent out of the house for a restiction

The thermal fuse is going to be located on the heating element housing. When you take off the front panel you will see your lint screen housing. You will need to remove that to get to the element housing. Once that's out of the way the thermal fuse should be right on top of the housing. It is small and has two small wires coming off of it. The wires should be different colors. Just don't get it mixed up with the thermostat. Just match it up with the new one that you have. It is held in place with two small screws. Okay Element should read around 38 OHMS if okay providing the voltage is at the element then it should heat, if no volts then check stat , cut outs and timer, in that order

This is the most common locations for thermal fuses and heating element on Whirlpool,Kenmore,Estate dryers. Check these fuses for continuity and replace the one that does not have continuity

Could you give me any info - I have my model number and the issue I am having.
Dryer doesn't heat, the element is fine - it is model #11060912990 - there is no power going to the heating element - the element looks fine and tested it, 10.1 OHMS - where the thermal fuse is + how to test - also where would the thermostat be located ? I do not have a parts list either. If you could post to help, would be appreciated!
Plus there are 3.3 OHMS - perhaps it's the thermostat?
