SD card not recognized

What happens when you tried to plug-in SD card to the computer?

Have you made any recent changes to the computer prior to the issue?

To make the SDHC be recognized by the computer, we need to ensure that the card reader works in Windows 7 first. Please check if the card reader is recognized properly by the computer and you have installed the driver for it.

Meanwhile, you can plug some other storage cards to the card reader and see how it works.

I would suggest you to refer the link below
A Secure Digital (SD) card may not be recognized on a Windows 7 based computer.
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/981642

Uninstall all the Generic USB drivers and reinstall.

1. Open Device Manager.

2. In "Disk Drives" dropdown, uninstall the "Generic SD/MMC USB device" drive.

3. Restart computer.

4. Insert SDHC card.

Hope this helps.

DMC-zs10 records on internal memory - not on SD card

Hello bro..
Do you check your SD card? It is work ?
My solution:
1. Off Lumix camera.Until LCD was off. Press center of card to remove it.
2. Use card reader to connect your SD card to pc/netbook/laptop..
3. Check full capacity for SD card, it is empty(zero) or have it their mount.
4. If empty (full, used, free is zero) ,try reinsert card again and don' t touch the terminal.
5. If still empty, that mean, your SD card was corrupted.
6. If not empty, backup all data in SD card.
7. Format the SD card using FAT32.
8. Checking Disk.
9.Insert back to camera, and format SD card using camera menu.
10. Take picture. and see if save on SD card or not. comment back here. if succes or not.
11. Don't use any battery except original from panasonic. It will affected to product.
12. Don't remove battery or card before lcd was off light.

Sd card format software

Start up a computer with Windows XP, Vista, or Windows 7. Insert the SD card into an external memory card reader or into the computer's built in card reader. If it the first time a SD card has been inserted into the computer, Windows will recognize the SD card and automatically install drivers to read the memory card.

Go to the computer view by clicking on the windows start menu icon in the bottom right corner of the computer. In Windows 7 and Vista click "Computer". In Windows XP click "My Computer"

Right click on the SD drive under the computer heading. A dialog box with different options for the drive will appear. Click on "Format" to bring up the formatting dialog box.

Select the type of formatting (also known as file system format). In Windows XP or Vista there are several choices including FAT, FAT 32, and NTFS. In Windows 7 there is an added choice called exFAT formatting. This is an improved FAT formatting type with improved meta data capabilities. Choose the formatting type, name if the drive if desired, check or uncheck the "quick format" option, and press the "Start" button. When the SD card format is complete Windows will provide a notification.

Cannot download anything. Phone says memory is full and delete photos, music, etc to free up memory. Phone is brand new...nothing on it. Is there a way to reformat the hard drive? Have already reset...

There is a problem with Windows Mobile 7 phones "forgetting" things when a micro SD memory card is used. If your settings are stored on an SD card this could be the cause. Try using the phone without the memory card to determine if this is the problem. It is my understanding that that you must use a "Certified for Windows Mobile 7" micro SD card to avoid this problem.

If it isn't the SD memory problem then you have a defective phone so get it replaced before your warranty expires.

If this helps please vote for my solution.

I have a sylvania notebook i want to change os how do i do that i have no cd rom do i use a usb flash windows ce is harable.

To the best of my knowledge, you cannot change the OS on that notebook as it is an embeded system. The Gsystem is burned into a chip on the mother board and the only way at present is to reprogram a like chip and solder it in place after de-soldering the old chip. Then you would have to buy another embeded system and learn to program an EEprom chip.

Cannot sync my sd card. if you slide in the memory card no response from my computer. im running oon an windows 7 o.s.. what should i do to install the sd card reader driver. im using a fujitsu lifebook...

No driver is required, the SD card should be automatically recognized as an generic Removable Dive. If it isn't it's because the card itself has died. Junk it and buy a new one.
