Uncheck the songs you don't want on your ipod. When you sync it, they wont be on there. Or, you can right click and delete them. Then sync your ipod.

I hope this helps. Please rate this solution.

I'm sorry if I sent this multiple times.

How do you delete songs on an apple ipod model A1320

When you connect iPod nano to computer with USB cable, iTunes will launch automatically and recognize your iPod. You can create a new playlist which contains only the music you need, and then sync it to your iPod. By doing this, you can remove the unwanted music from iPod. delete-songs-apple-ipod-model-a1320-oxaxc0rwhkhzilrwacqreyis-4-0.jpg

I have a nano ipod I was at one time to fit over 700 songs on it now I can only have 300 songs can you please help me out thanks

If you have added any videos or photos to the ipod that you do not need, remove them. These will take up space that is used by music to get you a higher song count.
If you haven't put any new photos or videos check to make sure your songs seem to be normal length and quality. You may have had 700 songs that were 3 minutes long in the past, but if you have 80 songs that are 30 minutes long those would be the same as having 240 songs.

How to delete songs once they are on the ipod???

With itunes open and your nano connected right click where it is listed under "devices" at the left of the screen. This will open a window for the nano. At the top there will be some tabs to access different aspects of the nano. Click the "summary" tab. The third section from the top there will be "Options". Make sure the box for "Sync only checked songs and videos" is checked. Once it is, eject the nano then go back to your library and uncheck the boxes to the left of any song you don't want on your nano . Once you are done connect the nano and it will remove the songs you have unchecked from it. This wont affect the contents of your library.

I loaded a bunch of new songs to my playlists and my 4gb nano snycned as much as it could. Then I tried my 8gb nano and it would not add the new songs to it. Help me please

Is it set to be 'Manually Managed'? If so you have to drag the songs or playlists onto the iPod manually. Don't forget to click the eject button when you want to remove the iPod. You can also turn 'Manually Manage' off. If that doesn't help try doing a reset. Hold down the 'Menu' and the centre button for at least 10 seconds. You should see the Apple logo & the iPod starts up again.
Still no good? Try a restore. Connect your iPod with the cable that came with it to the USB port on your computer. In iTunes, click and (Restore).

How to reset an ipod nano

Your iPod syncs the songs in your iTunes library every time you plug it into your computer, adding/removing songs is only a matter of adding/deleting them from your library and re-syncing your iPod.
