Hello,

When you are able to go through the player's menu you can select reset factory settings. Starting from the Main Menu select:
1. Settings menu
2. System settings
3. Reset factory settings
4. Yes (to confirm the selection)

Your 4GB card is actually a microSDHC card. The e250 works with microSD cards, 2GB and smaller.

My sansa 4gb clip is not recognised by my computer. The computer will not acknowlege the usb either... My sansa has run out of battery. What can I do????

Hai, i have sansa clip 2gb with the same problem. one ultimate answer i got is Sansa clip uses Media Transfer Protocol(MTP). Sandisk(maker of salsa clip) know about the problem which cannot be solved(the earlier sansa products are to be avoided). There is no solution with the company.

Sansa clip is new 4gb and does not seem to charge when plugged into the computer. Something about firmware?

Go to http://www.sandisk.com/ and download the latest firmware and reflashing program and reflash your player and it ill work again. But make sure that you back up your music because it will delete everything and restore it to factory settings

Broken screen stuck on repeat

If you update the firmware or run the Sansa Recovery Tool, it will restore all the defaults, including returning the player to shuffle.

You could also fly blind by carefully observing the menu tree. Here is the user manual that will assist you in such an endeavor:
