Programming Tax+ button

I have had the above calculator for quite a while and have lost the manual, I would like to reprogramme the Tax+ button, can you help?

    hi i have Citizen VZ-5500 model calculator. I have problem in setting VAT rate in my calculator. pls let me know how to set

Programming Tax Rate
Non-printing models (also applies to HR-8TE printing calculator):
1. Press [AC]
2. Hold [SET/%] key for about 2 seconds
3. Press [TAX+]
4. Input the tax rate
5. Press [SET/%]

The one below is the one you require.

Printing models (except HR-8TE):
1. Have calculator in “print” mode
2. Press [CA]
3. Hold [SET/%] key for about 3 seconds
4. Input the tax rate
5. Press [TAX+]
6. Press [SET/%]

Set up tax rate on staples bd-9512

To set the BD-9512 (Staples Big Digit Tax Calculator)
1. Press ON/AC
2. Press and HOLD the RATE button (for 2 sec)
3. Enter desired Tax amount (i.e.: enter only 13 for 13%)
4. Press TAX + (or TAX - if setting the minus button)
5. Press RATE to save it.

Lost manual, How do I figure sales tax?

press AC
while holding AC press SET/%
while holding SET/% release AC
your screen should read SET on top
now press TAX+(TAX RATE)
enter tax rate 6.25
then press the SET% again,
you just changed your tax rate

Change tax rate oncalculator

Press the [ac] button, then press and hold the [tax+] button for a second or two. Then enter the tax rate you want as a percentage. You would enter 8.25% sales tax as 8.25 for instance. Then press the [%] key to set the rate. Notice that printed above the [tax+] button is "tax rate" and above the [%] key is "rate set" as a reminder of which key to press.

CANNOT SET TAX RATE ON CACULATOR

Turn off / on calculator (AC button)
hold down the % (set) button on the calculator
press the Tax +
Enter the tax amount you want
Then press the % (set) button again.
That's it!

press the AC button again and you should be good to go! :)

How do you set a tax rate?!?!?

1. Switch off the calculator
2. Switch it on again
3. Press and hold the tax button (set %) until the display changes
4. Enter the new tax rate
5. Press the tax button (tax +)
