If your school or company has blocked Facebook, they are blocking it for reasons; takes away the user's concentration from work or studies and the site uses a lot of bandwidth.
You can still access FACEBOOK by using a proxy server. One is www.facebookproxy.co.uk. However, using may not be safe. Also, if your companies/school server security feature detects that it your are using a proxy, it may be blocked as well. You can search google for list of facebook proxies that may work with Facebook.

You can use online proxy website and then open the yahoo website through it. You can try use the following website;

http://www.httpsurf.com

Once you have opened the above link, you can enter www.yahoo.com in the text field shown on the web page and click on Browse button next to it. Viola! you should be able to surf any website that is blocked by your company firewall. You can then login to the Yahoo mail from there.

If the www.httpsurf.com itself is blocked at your office network then you can simply google on the internet for some other online proxy websites. You should be able to find lots of other website like www.hidemyass.com , http://zend2.com/

Simple solution! There are Proxy servers, which you can use to access whatever website you desire, regardless of what's blocked.

Sadly you will not be able to get there without breaking company policy :(.

Rather than typing the usual WWW.FACEBOOK.COM in your web address bar to get an access, choose one proxy address from the list and access it. Then on the proxy site type www.facebook.com to get an access. Not all proxy sites from the list are working so better find the one that work.

This can be done only by system administrator's. Entry in the firewall must be removed. Then you will be able to access yahoo mail. Another way you can access blocked sites using proxy sites. Ex: www.proxysites.net. Some firewalls block these sites too.
