Oven temperature fisher paykel

Hi

I have a fairly newest electric oven fisher and paykell, it has two knobs a temperature knob and select your bake knob. (2.5 years old)

The fan force and fan bake doesn't heat up at all, although the grill seems to work and the bake.

I do recall seeing a blue flash one night when my husband was cooking, could that have been a fuse or something?

Thanks

I have just moved into a house which has a Shacklock Oven model 24D.. It has no writing on the oven knobs anymore so i cant read where the nob needs to be for bake, grill, fan bake, etc. Is there a picture of this model anywhere

Benypeny what that flash was from what I have seen over the years is your heating element on the back wall burning out. Remove the cover and you will see the element is no longer in 1 piece.

How do I turn off Auto on oven

Hi Anita,

A quick search of Google for an answer to my question "Turning Auto Off on a Fisher and Paykel Oven"
With little more detail from you like model and if AUTO Off as with Timer I could pin point it, i..e.be more accurate.

So if my guess is correct than it should be on the Analogue/Analog Timer Knob OR if electronic somewhere on the keypad, electronic touchscreen? pad....meaning set it to MANUAL....have you tried that?

Cheers

I have a Fisher & Paykel OS302. The temperature and oven mode selects are dead, no LED display, no operation. The clock module is working. This happened all at once, I tried to turn it on and both...

This sounds as if the electronic clock timer is in automatic mode. It must be in manual mode for the oven to work. Turn the oven on and play around with the timer controls/buttons. When the oven indicator light comes on the clock is in manual mode.

Takes long to reach it's temperature

Hello there
Electronic ovens with a digital display use a sensor to monitor oven temperature. To solve temperature problems for these models, you may need to replace the sensor. On some digital-display models, you can calibrate the temperature using the key pad. See your operator's manual for details. bullet.jpg Ovens without a digital display often use a mechanical system for controlling temperature. On many of these units, you can remove the thermostat knob and adjust the knob itself to more accurately represent the actual setting of the thermostat. bullet.jpg If, when you remove the knob, there's a screw on the back of it with a small calibration plate, you can loosen the screw, adjust the plate, then tighten the screw again. If the knob isn't adjustable, and the oven temperature is off by more than 30 to 40 degrees, you need to replace the thermostat to solve the problem.
