If necessary to replace some of the wire
for any reason, you repair the oe harness
You buy the same gauge wire, any color, solder
& heat shrink the part your cutting out.
If only the ends are a problem & you have enough wire
to reach the pump, you have to get the wire terminals
& replace them & hopefully use the oe connectors
If the connectors are problem, then you source your parts
from a salvage yard & do your solder thing
If your asking about buying a fuel pump & it looks or is wired
different,it is the wrong one, take it back
You just plug in the new pump, there is NO Rewiring or the pump
is not for your application ,or it came with no instructions
All OEMs have their own common wire color coding. Look at and other Suzuki street bike tail light wiring to determine which color is the tail light/ brake light/ left and right turn signal colors. The ground will be the same color for all of these lights.
All the wires on my 40watt realistic eq are all the same thickness and I have three red wires can someone tell me what side the power wire should be on and which color wires would go for speakers and which color go for the amplifier
All the wires have colors. Like color wires go together. You can basically rewire a Honda by the color of the wires with out having to use a diagram . The only confusing thing you might run into is , for example, when you have a blue wire with a white stripe that connects to a blue wire with a white band near the connector. If you are trying to connect a part from another year or model , where the harness is different colors, then you may need two different diagrams if you want to attempt to use the part in question. Your best option is to make sure the part you purchase is for the year you have so the plugs and the wire colors match up.
