Do you mean the BIOS password? If so almost all motherboards contain a jumper that can clear all CMOS settings along with the BIOS password. The location of this jumper varies depending upon the motherboard brand. You should read your motherboard manual to check its location. If you don't have the manual then look for the jumpers near the CMOS battery.

When you find the jumper, look carefully. There will be 3 pins and the jumper will be joining the center pin to either left or right pin. What you need to do, is remove the jumper and join the center pin to the opposite pin. E.G. If the jumper joins center pin to left pin, then remove it and join center pin to right pin. Now wait for a few seconds and then again remove the jumper and join the center pin to left pin.
Make sure to turn the PC off before opening the cabinet and resetting the jumper.

How do i unlock my labtop with a cd or internet if i forgot my password

If you have forgotten your Windows login password then you can download a copy Hiren's Boot CD which is a CD image file (.ISO) then burn this to a blank CD and boot your laptop from this.

On the initial Hiren's boot menu, select the option for:
Offline NT/2000/XP/Vista/7 Password Changer
and then follow the guided prompts shown on the further menu panels.

This tool will allow you to reset your Windows login password to all blanks (i.e. no password).

If you have forgotten a BIOS level password then go to
http://www.tech-faq.com/reset-bios-password.html
and try the suggestions there for the specific make of BIOS that you have on your eMachines notebook.

I have a dell pp05l laptop but im locked out of it forgot my password to log on. Want to know if any way to recover my password to open it.

is the password in the bios /// or in windows
if in windows you can.. if in the bios not as easy
if you can get to the motherboard some labtops still have a pull out pin that will erase the bios passwords
check with your labtop mfg to see if there are pins or switched that will allow you to erase the password and start over

I forgot my password on my labtop

Ophcrack, a freeware password recovery program, can create a boot CD which will discern your password in a very short time by booting with the CD you create from a working computer.http://sourceforge.net/project/downloading.php?groupname=ophcrack&filename=bkhive-1.1.1.tar.gz&use_mirror=voxel

Locked out of my labtop

If it's a Windows password, then enter safe mode at start up by pressing F8, log in as administrator, from here you can clear any user passwords from the user accounts section. If this is a bios password you will need to contact Dell support directly for the master code to unlock the board.
