Hello, You can use all three of these together. You could use the front (red and white) preout on the back of the 709 which will connect into the red and white input on the amplifier. Then you will connect the Bose speakers to the amplifier. Thanks, FJD
Yes. You can use the Line Out, or Pre-Amp output into another receiver or amplifier. The receiver or amplifier you use as the amp, will need to have a volume control, as the line output coming from the TX SR604 cannot be varied.

check your amplifier output speaker impedance requirements.. example: 8 ohms...build a speaker 8 ohms in parallel or series connection.. check the impedance using ohmeter ..you must reach the required impedance..
use 1 cell battery to check if you speakers are in-phase...if one speaker did not ..reverse connection and check again ...to give the good sound...hope you understand my english..:)
Unfortunately can't connect it that way. The pre out is only meant to go directly into an amplifier that has all of the same inputs (front/rear, center and surround), not a standard receiver. (Pre amp to amp only, not pre amp to receiver) If your Onkyo doesn't have all the same inputs as your Kenwood preamp has outputs you will just use your standard left/right outputs from the Kenwood to your Onkyo input (CD, Tape, Phono,DVD etc) then use the outputs (front/rear, center and surround) from your Onkyo receiver and connect directly to your speakers..
Dear ritchiewayne,
Please connect optical out of the DVD recorder to the input of panasonic TV. Next connect TV's optical out to the input of Onkyo amplifier. connect speakers to the out put of Onkyo amplifier.
This is not an IR problem. Could be just loose connectors and dry joints. You'll need to open the unit and visual inspection of the PCB and connector for abnormality.
Use Deoxit on the switch. It is a contact cleaner available at Radio Shack and Fry's. Exercise the knob well. It worked for me on my newly acquired Onkyo A809.
