Internet slow My internet explore is runing very slow what to do??

7. Close Internet Explorer, and then reopen it. The changes take effect the next time that you open Internet Explore

I couldn't agree more. I installed Firefox as an alternative browser on my Vista system as it tends to run slightly faster.

Close the internet explorer,,, go to run--type inetcpl.cpl, it will open the internet eplorer properties. go to advance and reset the internet explorer. it will fix the issue.

You could have a slow internet connection, malware and spyware. Or need to clean your internet files to speed up your internet browser. Try downloading,installing and running ccleaner and spybot

Do a google search for "google chrome"
If that runs slow you know its the PC, if it runs fine then you know its Internet explorer.
I no longer use internet explorer because it it so slow but i remember there was a setting which would scan web-pages for phishing threats.
Im not sure if its called that or if they have changed over to the smartscreen filter.

I will suggest you to uninstall internet explorer 8 using add/remove programs and disable unnecessary addons in internet explorer 7..
