Headphone might not be compatable. Remove it or see your provider.

Drop the phone and put it together again. That's what happened to mine and the headphones disappeared

clean ur phones system conector(headphone/datacable jack) ,if no result change system conecor IC

It seems that E61i has a problem with the speaker. I know several phones of that type that have this problem. Try to use a headphone or go to a nokia service.

ur phone is having a prob with hardware.. there is prob with ic.. just go to the nearest service centre and they should fix ur prob..

this usually occurs due to moisture or sweat that has created this prob

i think there could be a problem with the headphone jack, if it is shorting out, it is manipulated into thinking that there are headphones plugged in when there are not.

solution: turn the phone off, and remove the battery. get an old tooth brush, and get some methylated spirits. and start cleaning the port where the headphones plug into, then let it dry.

Same here. I tried many things but cannot ring it back to headset mode. I continuously see the headphone icon shown in the phone, so it seems that the phone thinks that it is still connected to earphones. Sometimes, it works fine, but mostly it does not. If I connect the phone on bluetooth earphones, it works fine.
Any help will be appreciated.

Dear. Ur hand free connector is short may be water inside. just open it and clean and reassemble will ok sure.
