Hi there,
I have just done the exact same thing today. Press menu button on projector. Scroll (navigate) to the mirror option. This give you the options to mirror image left to right or up and down.
This should fix any of your problems.
Cheers
Luke

Optima Optima hd81 projector mounted on ceiling now picture is upside down

There is an option in the setup menus to re-orientate the picture, to flip it either vertically, horizontally or both to correct for the various installation options. You should be able to correct it quite easily :o)

Runco picture upside down

Yes possibly because you have done a complete system reset and not a lamp hour reset so you will need to go into image or screen settings and select front view ceiling mount configuration

How do i mount my hopper projector sv 10 to the ceiling

Yes it should be mounted upside down as you would not want to see the bottom of the projector all the time, unless the bottom is as good looking as the top, which I doubt. I wonder if you bought or got a ceiling mount rack with it. First mount the rack on the ceiling and then fasten the projector to it. And before that its picture has to be turned upside down too.

Upside down image

These projectors are designed to be mounted upside down. Think of a projector that is ceiling mounted in a classroom. Change this setting in Menu - Advanced Menu - Setup - Mirror.

Picture settings

You should go to the menu and look for the "Mirror" settings, change the vertical to bring it rightside up, however if it is also backwards (horizontally) change the horizontal "Mirror" there is an option of turning on either both or each separate option. I assume though that you will probably just have to change the setting to H&V Mirror.

Hitachi XGA cp-x275

Yes, this unit is made for either or solution. If you look at the under side, you will see three screw holes, these are for your mount kit which you can get form http://www.mountsandmore.com/Projector-Ceiling-Mounts-C13810.html?refid=G6435.%22projector+ceiling+mount%22&gclid=CIyfl7G_2pgCFQEoGgodXmajdw

There are other sites as well.

Hope this is not too late.
