If you mean the waveguide cover, those are almost always mica or plastic.
They would normally install by sliding them into slots in the cavity or ceiling, and sometimes they are held in pl;ace with a plastic rivet, too.
If a waveguide cover is damaged, it should be replaced with a new one, not repaired in any way.
Arcing will occur, which can damage your magnetron, waveguide, and / or chassis.
If you mean the waveguide itself, which channels the microwave energy from the magnetron to the cooking cavity, that cannot be removed or replaced. They are welded in place. If the waveguide is bad, the oven has to be replaced.
